Ten years ago, I released the very first VibeRide mix. A decade later, disco's back and now everyone loves Nile Rodgers! Who'd a thunk it? The last ten years of producing VibeRide have been a pleasure for me, I hope you've enjoyed the ride too and discovered some great music just like I have.

I wanted to do something special for VibeRide's 10th anniversary so I'm giving you a double-dose of funky goodness. Firstly, there's a cracking special guest mix from the great Professor Eddy. Special thanks go out to him for putting together such a great mix for us.

And secondly, there's my own rebooted and improved version of the very first VibeRide mix, which I released almost exactly a decade ago. My, how the time has flown! It featured genuine foot-stomping classics from Cameo, Stevie Wonder, The Commodores, Con Funk Shun, Luther Vandross, Roy Ayers, Prince, The Gap Band and Maceo Parker.

To think, it all began with these tracks and here we are a decade later still riding that funk vibe! As McFadden & Whitehead once sang, 'ain't no stopping us now'. Here's to another decade!
