Mix 81 features new music from Prince's recently released album Art Official Age and from the forthcoming Brand New Heavies album Sweet freaks. 

The classic funk comes from the Sunburst Band, Daft Punk, Kinsman Dazz, the Whispers, Keni Burke, and Willie Beaver Hale. 

Finished off with an irresistible groove from Michael McDonald (famously sampled by Warren G), which I always wished had an extended version. Couldn't find one, so I made one myself.
